How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the washer and remove the rear panel.
- Inspect drive belt: Check if the belt is off the pulley or broken. Refit or replace with the correct Zanussi belt if damaged.
- Check drum rotation: Turn the drum by hand. If it is stiff or grinding, suspect bearing or foreign object issues rather than the motor.
- Inspect motor brushes: On brushed motors, remove and check brushes. Replace if worn short.
- Test motor: If the belt and brushes are fine, the motor or PCB may be faulty and should be tested by a technician.
