How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Isolate power before working on control wiring.
- 1. Check wiring layout: Compare the low-voltage control wiring to the ACV wiring diagram. Ensure the bus wires are on the correct terminals and polarity is observed if required.
- 2. Inspect cable: Look for damage where the cable passes through walls or panels. Replace any crushed or cut sections.
- 3. Reseat connectors: Disconnect and reconnect the communication plugs at both the main PCB and the remote panel.
- 4. Test with local controls: If possible, operate the unit using the onboard control instead of the remote. If it works locally, the remote panel or its cable is likely faulty.
- 5. Replace suspect component: Swap the remote panel or cable with known-good parts. If communication still fails, the main PCB may need replacement.
