Possible Causes
Blown fuse on ACV control board, Tripped external breaker, Faulty main on/off switch on heater, Loose power supply wiring
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Always isolate power at the breaker before opening the electrical compartment.
- 1. Check power supply: Verify that the circuit breaker or fuse feeding the ACV water heater is on and not tripped. Reset if necessary.
- 2. Inspect main switch: Ensure the heater's main power switch is in the ON position and not damaged.
- 3. Internal fuses: Remove the front panel and locate any fuses on the ACV control board or in-line holders. Replace blown fuses only with the same type and rating. If a fuse blows again, there is a deeper fault.
- 4. Wiring check: Confirm that live, neutral, and earth are securely connected at the terminal block and that there are no burnt or loose wires.
If the unit still shows no signs of life, the main control PCB or transformer may be defective and should be tested by a technician.
