Possible Causes
Loose display cable, Damaged communication harness, Faulty user interface board, Defective main control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn OFF power before opening any covers.
- Access control compartment: Remove the front panel to expose the Alpha main control board and user interface (display) board.
- Check harness: Locate the low-voltage communication cable between the display and main board. Reseat both ends and inspect for pin damage.
- Inspect for moisture: Look for signs of water intrusion or condensation on the boards. Dry gently with a clean cloth and allow to air dry completely.
- Power cycle: Restore power and see if the display initializes normally. If E10 persists, either the display board or main control board may be defective.
Board-level diagnosis and replacement are best performed by an Alpha-authorized technician to avoid miswiring or ESD damage.
