How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn OFF power before removing covers.
- Check user settings: Verify the set temperature on the Alpha control panel is within the allowed range and that any child lock or vacation mode is disabled.
- Inspect keypad/knob: Ensure the temperature adjustment knob or buttons are not physically stuck or damaged.
- External controls: If the Alpha heater is connected to an external thermostat or remote controller, check the low-voltage wiring for shorts or miswiring.
- Reset control: Disconnect power for 5 minutes to reset the control board. If E14 returns, the internal thermostat circuit may be defective.
Replacing the main control board or user interface should be done by a qualified technician to maintain safety certifications.
