• Verify gas (gas models): Ensure the manual gas shutoff valve to the Alpha gas valve assembly is fully open.
• Check status lights: Observe the Alpha control panel for any hidden diagnostic LEDs or codes. Refer to the manual.
• Electric elements: On electric Alpha heaters, remove the element access covers, verify power is OFF, then test each heating element with a multimeter for continuity. Replace any open elements.
