How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off gas and water supply before disassembly.
- Clean inlet filter: Remove and rinse the cold inlet filter screen.
- Access flow sensor/switch: Open the water section of the heater and inspect the flow switch or turbine. Remove limescale and debris.
- Check microswitch: On mechanical flow switches, verify that the lever actuates the microswitch when water flows. Replace the switch if it does not click or change continuity.
- Replace flow sensor: If the turbine or sensor is damaged, install an Ariston-compatible replacement.
