Possible Causes

Stuck flow switch, Scaled or jammed turbine, Blocked inlet filter, Faulty microswitch or Hall sensor

Safety first: Turn off gas and water supply before disassembly.

Clean inlet filter: Remove and rinse the cold inlet filter screen.
Access flow sensor/switch: Open the water section of the heater and inspect the flow switch or turbine. Remove limescale and debris.
Check microswitch: On mechanical flow switches, verify that the lever actuates the microswitch when water flows. Replace the switch if it does not click or change continuity.
Replace flow sensor: If the turbine or sensor is damaged, install an Ariston-compatible replacement.
