Possible Causes
Stuck or shorted keypad buttons, Moisture ingress into control panel, Damaged display PCB, Loose ribbon cable between UI and main board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before removing the front panel.
- Dry and clean panel: If the heater is installed in a humid area, check for condensation inside the front cover. Gently dry with a cloth and allow time for moisture to evaporate.
- Inspect keypad: Look for signs of physical damage or stuck buttons. Gently press each button to ensure free movement.
- Reseat ribbon cable: Disconnect and reconnect the ribbon cable between the display/keypad board and the main control board.
- Replace UI board: If buttons remain unresponsive or E14 persists, replace the user interface/display PCB with an Ariston-compatible part.
After replacement, reassemble the cover and restore power. Reconfigure settings as needed.
