Possible Causes

Closed or partially closed inlet valve, clogged safety group, debris in inlet filter, collapsed flexible hose

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Turn off power. Open a hot water tap to relieve pressure before disconnecting any pipes.

  • Verify that the main cold water shutoff valve and the valve on the Atlantic safety group are fully open.
  • Check the flexible hose to the heater for kinks or collapse; straighten or replace if necessary.
  • Close the inlet valve, remove the safety group or inlet filter (if fitted), and inspect for debris or scale; clean or replace as needed.
  • Reassemble, open the inlet valve, and confirm that water flows freely from an open hot tap until all air is purged.
