Possible Causes

Seized fan motor, obstructed fan wheel, failed fan capacitor (if external), broken fan wiring, defective fan output on control board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Turn off power and wait for all moving parts to stop before working near the fan.

  • Remove the top cover to access the axial fan assembly.
  • Check for physical obstructions (plastic, insulation, dust buildup) preventing the fan from turning. Remove any debris.
  • Spin the fan blade by hand; it should rotate freely. If stiff or seized, replace the Atlantic fan motor assembly.
  • Inspect the fan wiring harness and connector; repair any loose or burnt connections.
  • If your model uses an external run capacitor, test it with a capacitance meter and replace if out of spec.
  • If the fan and wiring are good but the board does not supply voltage to the fan, replace the control board.
