Safety: Isolate power and close water supply before removing any hydraulic components.
- Locate the flow sensor or flow switch on the cold water inlet line of the heater.
- Check installation orientation (arrow direction) and correct if installed backwards.
- Remove the sensor body and inspect for scale or debris preventing movement; clean gently without damaging internal parts.
- Check the sensor wiring and connector to the control board; repair any damage.
- If the sensor still does not signal flow correctly, replace it with the appropriate Atlantic flow sensor.
