Possible Causes
Defective flow NTC sensor, Loose sensor connection, Damaged wiring harness, Faulty main PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Isolate electrical power before removing covers.
- 1. Reset and test: Reset the unit and run hot water. If A08 returns, the flow temperature sensor circuit is suspect.
- 2. Locate flow NTC: The flow NTC is typically mounted on the primary flow pipe leaving the heat exchanger.
- 3. Check mounting: Ensure the sensor is properly clipped or inserted and has good thermal contact with the pipe.
- 4. Measure resistance (technician): Disconnect the sensor and measure resistance at room temperature. Compare with Beretta specifications. Replace if readings are abnormal.
- 5. Inspect wiring: Look for damaged insulation, corrosion at connectors, or loose plugs between the sensor and PCB.
