Possible Causes
Loose connection between display board and main PCB, Faulty user interface board, Damaged communication cable, Main PCB communication failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before removing the front panel or control fascia.
- 1. Power cycle: Turn the appliance off for 1–2 minutes, then back on. If A15 returns, there is likely a communication issue.
- 2. Check control panel connections: Remove the front panel carefully. Inspect the ribbon cable or harness between the user interface and main PCB. Reseat connectors.
- 3. Look for moisture or corrosion: Any water ingress into the control area can damage electronics. Dry the area and fix the source of leaks.
- 4. Replace faulty board (technician): If wiring is intact, a technician may need to replace either the user interface board or the main PCB after diagnostic tests.
