Possible Causes
Incorrect sensor configuration in installer menu, Incompatible sensor connected to input, Multiple sensors assigned to same function, Firmware mismatch after board replacement
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Only trained personnel should change installer-level parameters. Turn off power before replacing any components.
- Review configuration: Enter the installer menu using the Buderus service code. Review sensor assignments and system configuration against the installation manual.
- Check connected sensors: Verify that only the sensors required for the installed system are connected and that unused inputs are disabled.
- Correct parameters: Adjust parameters to match the actual hydraulic and sensor layout (e.g., presence of DHW tank, solar, buffer tank).
- Firmware compatibility: If the control board was recently replaced, confirm that the firmware version is compatible with the connected modules and controllers.
- Reset and test: Save changes, exit the installer menu, and power-cycle the heater. Confirm that H13 clears and that all temperatures are displayed correctly.
