How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power and gas. Only qualified personnel should test gas valve circuits.
Steps to check:
- Inspect the wiring harness between the gas valve assembly and the main control PCB. Look for burns, cuts, or loose connectors.
- Check coil resistance of the gas valve with a multimeter and compare to CTC specifications.
- If the coil is open or shorted, replace the gas valve assembly.
- If the valve tests good but E14 persists, the gas valve driver circuit on the main control PCB is likely damaged and the board must be replaced.
Warning: After gas valve or control replacement, a leak test and combustion check are mandatory.
