Possible Causes
Damaged touchpad or buttons, Moisture intrusion into control panel, Loose ribbon cable, Failed user interface PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before removing the front control panel.
Steps to check:
- Remove the front bezel to access the user interface PCB and keypad.
- Inspect for signs of water damage, condensation, or corrosion on the board and connectors.
- Reseat the ribbon cable between the keypad and the main control PCB.
- If certain buttons work and others do not, the keypad membrane is likely failing; replace the user interface PCB / keypad assembly.
