- Inspect ribbon cable: Remove the front panel carefully. Locate the ribbon cable or harness connecting the display/keypad to the main PCB. Reseat both ends, ensuring they are fully inserted and locked.
- Check for damage: Look for kinks, cuts, or burn marks on the cable. Replace the cable or entire user interface module if damaged.
- Power cycle: Restore power and see if E06 clears. If the error persists, the user interface board or main PCB may need replacement.
