How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Turn off power before handling wiring.

Check connector seating: Ensure the NTC sensor plug is fully inserted into the PCB socket.
Inspect cable: Look for breaks or cuts in the sensor cable, especially near strain relief points.
Test resistance: Disconnect the sensor and measure resistance. Infinite resistance indicates an open sensor that must be replaced.

Action: Replace the faulty sensor with the correct Dimplex part. If a new sensor does not clear E17, the PCB input may be open and require replacement.
