Possible Causes

Loose compression fittings, Failed O-rings or gaskets, Corroded heat exchanger, Cracked plastic manifold

Safety: Turn off power and close the water supply immediately to prevent damage.

Identify leak source: Dry the unit and observe where water first appears (inlet, outlet, element flange, exchanger body).
Tighten joints: Carefully tighten any weeping compression fittings. Do not overtighten plastic components.
Replace seals: If leaks occur at the element flange or unions, replace O-rings or fiber washers with genuine Dimplex parts.
