Possible Causes

Incorrect supply voltage, loose terminal block connections, internal power supply failure on control board, blown internal fuse

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Only qualified persons should work on live electrical circuits. Always turn OFF the breaker before opening the terminal cover.

Steps:

  • Remove the terminal cover and inspect the mains connection block. Tighten all phase and neutral screws to the torque specified in the manual.
  • Check for signs of overheating or burning at the terminals and wiring.
  • Verify supply voltage with a multimeter at the terminal block; it must match the rating on the heater nameplate (e.g., 230 V single-phase).
  • Locate any internal fuses on the control board or near the terminal block. With power OFF, test continuity and replace blown fuses with identical type and rating.
  • If supply and fuses are correct but E9 persists, the internal power supply section of the control board may be defective and the board should be replaced.
