Possible Causes
Seized circulation pump, air-locked pump, failed pump relay on control board, blocked pump rotor by debris
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn OFF power and close isolation valves on the heating circuit if present.
Steps:
- Locate the circulation pump connected to the Drazice heater coil.
- Check electrical connections and ensure the pump is receiving power when there is a call for heat (requires careful live testing by a qualified person).
- With power OFF, loosen the pump vent screw (if provided) and use a screwdriver to gently turn the rotor to free it if stuck. Be prepared for a small water leak.
- Bleed air from the pump and heating circuit using bleed valves.
- If the pump does not run even with correct voltage, replace the pump with a compatible circulation pump.
- If no voltage is present at the pump when expected, the control board relay may be faulty and the board may need replacement.
