Drazice
Normal Expansion Discharge or Overpressure
Water dripping from the safety valve discharge pipe on a Drazice water heater, especially during heating.

Possible Causes
Thermal expansion of water with no expansion vessel, faulty or scaled safety valve, excessive mains pressure above valve rating, blocked expansion vessel on closed systems
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: The safety valve is a critical protection device. Never plug or cap the discharge pipe.
Steps:
- Observe if dripping occurs only during heating and stops afterward. Small intermittent dripping can be normal due to expansion.
- If flow is continuous or heavy, check the cold water pressure with a gauge. Install or service a pressure-reducing valve if pressure exceeds the Drazice specification.
- On closed systems, ensure an expansion vessel is installed and correctly pressurized. Recharge or replace the vessel if the diaphragm has failed.
- Operate the safety valve test lever briefly to flush debris. If the valve continues to leak, replace it with a valve of the correct pressure rating recommended by Drazice.
