Possible Causes
Burned-out heating element on Drazice flange, tripped manual reset safety thermostat, loose live or neutral connection at terminal block, failed mechanical thermostat
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn OFF the circuit breaker and verify absence of voltage at the heater terminals before opening the cover.
Steps:
- Remove the access cover to expose the thermostat, safety cut-out, and heating element terminals.
- Press the manual reset button on the safety thermostat until it clicks. If it was tripped, this may restore heating.
- Check that the mechanical thermostat is set to an appropriate temperature (e.g., 55–60°C).
- Inspect and tighten all screw terminals on the terminal block and thermostat.
- With power OFF, disconnect the wires from the heating element and measure resistance across the element. Replace the heating flange assembly if the element is open.
- If the element is good but there is still no heating, replace the mechanical thermostat with a Drazice-compatible unit.
