Water temperature fluctuates between hot and cold during a shower.

• Clean inlet filter: Shut off water, remove the inlet filter screen at the EcoSmart cold inlet, clean debris, and reinstall.
• Check shower valve: Pressure-balancing or thermostatic mixing valves can cause rapid flow changes. Test with a simple two-handle faucet or a different shower to see if the issue persists.
• Stabilize flow: Avoid running multiple fixtures that cause large pressure swings while showering.
• Inspect flow sensor: If fluctuations persist, turn OFF power, open the unit, and clean the flow sensor turbine of scale or debris.
• Sensor replacement: Replace the flow sensor assembly if erratic readings continue.
