Possible Causes
Partially failed flow sensor, Damaged sensor magnet or turbine, Electrical noise on sensor wiring, Control board input fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn OFF power and close the water supply before removing the flow sensor.
Steps:
- Remove the front cover and locate the flow sensor assembly on the inlet.
- Inspect the wiring harness for damage or routing near high-current wires that could induce noise. Reroute if necessary.
- Remove and inspect the sensor internals for wear or broken parts. Replace the flow sensor assembly if any mechanical damage is found.
- Clean any scale or debris and reinstall with correct orientation.
- If a new sensor does not resolve E14, the control board flow input circuit may be defective and require replacement.
Always check for leaks after reassembling the plumbing connections.
