Display shows E18; unit may not allow temperature to be set above a certain limit.

Configuration steps:

• Consult the Eemax installation manual for your model to locate DIP switches or jumpers that control maximum temperature.
• Turn OFF power, remove the cover, and adjust the DIP switches to the desired maximum temperature setting per the manual.
• Check the user interface for any child lock or temperature limit settings and disable or adjust them as needed.
• Restore power and verify that the setpoint can be adjusted and that E18 is cleared.

If configuration is correct but E18 persists, the control board or interface firmware may be locked and require replacement.
