Possible Causes
Thermistors out of calibration, Wrong sensor type installed, Control board calibration data corrupted, Wiring swapped between inlet and outlet sensors
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn OFF power and close water supply before servicing.
Steps:
- Remove the cover and verify that the inlet and outlet thermistors are connected to the correct terminals on the control board as per the wiring diagram.
- Confirm that replacement sensors (if any) are genuine Eemax parts for your model.
- Measure resistance of both sensors at a known temperature and compare to Eemax charts. Replace any sensor that is out of range.
- If sensors are correct and wired properly, the control board calibration may be corrupted. Replace the main control board.
After repairs, verify displayed temperature against an external thermometer at a faucet.
