Possible Causes
Blown low-voltage fuse on PCB, Faulty display board, Failed SMPS on control PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect mains before opening the control compartment.
Steps:
- Verify mains at terminal block: Confirm rated voltage is present at the heater input.
- Check internal fuse: Some Eldom control boards have a small fuse protecting the low-voltage circuit. Inspect and replace with the same rating if blown.
- Inspect display cable: Ensure the ribbon cable between the main PCB and the display module is firmly connected.
- Test display: If possible, substitute a known-good display module. If the new display works, replace the original.
- PCB replacement: If there is no low-voltage output from the PCB, replace the control PCB.
