How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF power before removing the control panel.
Steps:
- 1. Inspect panel: Check for cracks, moisture, or physical damage to the keypad area.
- 2. Dry and clean: If moisture is present, gently dry the area and allow time for complete drying.
- 3. Reseat ribbon cable: Disconnect and reconnect the UI ribbon cable at both ends.
- 4. Replace keypad/UI board: If buttons remain unresponsive, replace the user interface assembly with an Electrolux OEM part.
Note: After replacement, verify all buttons and display functions operate correctly.
