How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before touching the fan.
- Inspect fan wheel: Remove the cover and check for dust buildup or foreign objects in the fan. Clean carefully.
- Check connector: Ensure the multi‑pin fan connector is fully seated on both fan and control board.
- Spin test: With power OFF, spin the fan by hand to ensure it moves freely without grinding.
- Replacement: If the fan does not reach commanded speed or tachometer feedback is missing, replace the fan assembly. If the issue persists, the control board may be defective.
