Possible Causes
Blown main fuse, Faulty power switch, Loose mains connection block, Tripped external breaker
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Before any work, ensure the external breaker is OFF. Only qualified persons should work on live circuits.
- Check external supply: Verify that the circuit breaker or fuse feeding the Fondital heater is ON and not tripped. Reset if necessary.
- Power outlet: If the unit is plugged in, test the outlet with another appliance to confirm voltage is present.
- Inspect mains cable and terminal block: With power OFF, remove the front cover and check that the mains cable is firmly secured in the terminal block and that there are no burnt connections.
- Internal fuse: Many Fondital models have an internal fuse on the control board. Check and replace only with the same rating if blown. If it blows again, a deeper fault exists and a technician is required.
