How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power and gas before opening the unit.
- Gas supply: Confirm the gas cock is open and other gas appliances work.
- Listen for spark: During start-up, listen for the ticking of the ignition. If absent, check the ignition electrode and cable.
- Gas valve: If there is spark but no flame, the gas valve may not be opening and should be tested and replaced by a technician.
