Possible Causes
Faulty membrane keypad, Loose connection between keypad and display PCB, Liquid ingress into control panel, Firmware lockup
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Isolate power before removing the front control panel.
Steps:
- Power reset: Turn off power for several minutes, then restore to see if the interface recovers.
- Inspect keypad: Remove the fascia and check the ribbon cable or plug between the keypad and display PCB. Reseat connectors.
- Check for moisture: Look for signs of condensation or water ingress. Dry thoroughly and improve sealing if necessary.
- Replace keypad/display: If individual buttons or the entire keypad remain unresponsive, replace the keypad membrane or complete display module as supplied by Gledhill.
Note: Avoid using excessive cleaning fluids on the control panel, as these can penetrate and damage the keypad.
