Possible Causes
Blocked combination valve or pressure reducing valve, Partially closed isolation valve, Blocked strainers, Collapsed flexible hose
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Isolate water supply before dismantling any valves. Hot water can scald.
Steps to restore flow:
- 1. Check isolation valves: Ensure all service valves on the cold inlet and hot outlet are fully open.
- 2. Clean strainers: Many Heatrae Sadia combination valves and PRVs have integral strainers. Isolate, depressurise, remove strainers, clean debris, and refit.
- 3. Inspect combination valve: If the valve is noisy or restricts flow even when clean, it may be faulty and require replacement with the correct Heatrae Sadia inlet control group.
- 4. Check pipework: Look for kinked or collapsed flexible hoses on the hot outlet. Replace if damaged.
