Possible Causes
Faulty fan tachometer signal, Damaged fan motor, Loose fan connector, Control board fan driver fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before accessing the fan assembly.
- Inspect fan connector: Ensure the multi‑pin connector to the fan is fully seated and free of corrosion or burn marks.
- Check for obstructions: Spin the fan impeller gently by hand (with power off). It should rotate freely without scraping.
- Visual inspection: Look for signs of overheating or water ingress on the fan housing and wiring.
- Test operation: Restore power and call for hot water while observing the fan. If it does not start or runs erratically, the fan assembly likely needs replacement.
Note: Fan speed feedback is critical for safe combustion. If in doubt, have an authorized Immergas technician perform diagnostics.
