Water heater does not turn on at all; no display, no lights, no response.

Safety: Work on mains circuits only if you are qualified. Always turn off the main breaker before opening the heater.

• 1. Check external protection: Verify that the dedicated breaker or fuse for the Kospel heater is ON and not tripped. Reset or replace if necessary, but investigate why it tripped.
• 2. Inspect supply voltage: Using a multimeter, confirm that correct voltage is present at the heater’s supply terminals (only if you are competent to do so safely).
• 3. Tighten terminals: With power off, remove the terminal cover and check that all supply wires are firmly clamped.
• 4. Main switch: If your model has a built-in power switch, test it for continuity. Replace if it does not pass power when switched on.
• 5. Control board: If supply is present but the display remains dark, the internal low-voltage power supply on the main PCB may have failed. Replace the main control board.
