How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power and close water supply before opening the unit.
- 1. Confirm demand: Open a hot tap fully. Check if the heater indicates flow (flow icon or LED). If not, suspect flow sensor or low flow.
- 2. Clean inlet filter: Remove and clean the inlet strainer to ensure adequate flow.
- 3. Check flow sensor: Inspect and, if necessary, replace the flow sensor in the hydraulic block.
- 4. Test elements: With power off, measure resistance of each heating element. Replace any open or grounded elements.
- 5. Control outputs: If elements are good but never receive power, the main PCB’s power relays/triacs may be defective and the board should be replaced.
