Possible Causes
One or more heating elements failed, Incorrect power configuration (reduced power mode), Low supply voltage, Excessive flow rate beyond heater capacity
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before testing elements.
- 1. Check setpoint: Ensure the temperature is set to the desired maximum on the Kospel control panel.
- 2. Reduce flow: Slightly close the outlet tap to reduce flow and see if temperature increases. If so, flow may exceed heater capacity.
- 3. Test elements: Measure resistance of each heating element and replace any that are open or out of spec.
- 4. Verify power mode: Some models allow reduced power operation. Check configuration and restore full power if appropriate.
- 5. Measure supply voltage: Confirm mains voltage is within the specified range; low voltage reduces heating power.
