Steps:

• 1. Inspect vent slope: Ensure horizontal vent runs slope back toward the heater or toward a designated condensate drain per Lochinvar instructions.
• 2. Seal joints: Check all PVC vent joints for proper solvent welding. Reseal or replace sections with leaks.
• 3. Add condensate drain: If required by the installation manual, install a condensate drain tee at the appropriate location to capture and drain condensate.
• 4. Shorten or resize vent: If venting exceeds maximum length or has too many elbows, reconfigure to meet manufacturer limits.
