Navien water heater vibrates excessively or rattles the wall during operation.

Safety: Turn OFF power before tightening mounting hardware.

Steps:

• 1. Check mounting bracket: Ensure the Navien unit is firmly hooked onto its wall bracket and that all mounting screws are tight and anchored into solid framing.
• 2. Support piping: Add or tighten pipe clamps on hot, cold, gas, and condensate lines to prevent them from transmitting vibration to the structure.
• 3. Isolate vibration: Install rubber isolation pads or washers between the unit bracket and wall if resonance is an issue.

If vibration is accompanied by unusual fan noise, the fan wheel may be unbalanced and should be inspected by a technician.
