• Step 1 – Check temperature setting:
  • Reduce the standby temperature if set excessively high.
• Step 2 – Insulate pipework:
  • Add or repair insulation on hot outlet, recirculation, and exposed coil connections.
• Step 3 – Inspect casing:
  • Look for damaged or missing insulation panels; some can be replaced or supplemented.

If the cylinder body itself is very hot and insulation appears intact, internal insulation may have shifted; consult Nibe or a plumber about repair or replacement options.
