Possible Causes
Open or shorted inlet thermistor, Damaged thermistor wiring harness, Corroded thermistor connector, Defective main control PCB analog input
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn OFF power before removing the front cover. Avoid pulling on wires directly.
- 1. Reset the unit: Turn OFF power for 2–3 minutes, then restore and test. If H06 reappears, continue.
- 2. Access inlet thermistor (qualified persons):
- Remove the front panel.
- Locate the inlet water pipe; the thermistor is usually clipped or threaded into this pipe.
- Identify the small two‑wire connector from the thermistor to the PCB.
- 3. Inspect wiring:
- Check for broken insulation, pinched wires, or loose connectors.
- Reseat the connector on the PCB and at the sensor.
- 4. Check for corrosion or water ingress:
- If the thermistor body shows corrosion or signs of leakage, it should be replaced.
- 5. Replace inlet thermistor: If wiring is intact but H06 persists, replace the inlet water temperature sensor with a Panasonic‑specified part. Clear the code by power cycling.
- 6. If still unresolved: The main control PCB may have a failed sensor input and should be tested by an authorized technician.
