How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Burn hazard: Allow the unit to cool before touching piping. Noises often indicate overheating inside the heat exchanger.
- 1. Check water flow: Ensure all aerators and shower heads are clean and the inlet filter is clear.
- 2. Bleed air:
- Open several hot taps to purge air from the system.
- 3. Descale heat exchanger:
- Isolate the heater with service valves.
- Connect a descaling pump and circulate approved descaling solution through the heat exchanger as per Panasonic instructions.
- 4. If noise persists: The heat exchanger may be damaged or severely scaled and may need replacement by a technician.
