Water heater vibrates excessively or rattles when running

Safety first: Turn off power and gas. Allow moving parts to stop completely before touching.

• Check wall mounting: Ensure the Protherm heater is firmly fixed to the wall bracket and all screws are tight.
• Inspect fan and burner: Tighten any loose screws on the fan housing, burner, and heat exchanger supports.
• Isolate pipes: Add pipe clips or insulation where copper pipes touch the casing or each other.
• Replace fan if needed: If the fan is noisy and out of balance, replace the fan assembly.

Warning: Excessive vibration can damage internal components over time; correct promptly.
