How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off gas and power. Allow the combustion chamber to cool.
Steps:
- Clean burner: Remove the burner and clean all ports with a soft brush and compressed air. Do not enlarge the ports.
- Check ionization electrode: Clean and reposition as per Saunier Duval specifications. Replace if damaged.
- Verify earth: Ensure the appliance is properly earthed and that the earth wire is securely connected to the chassis.
- Gas pressure check: Have a technician measure inlet and burner pressure and adjust if necessary.
