Water heater is leaking from the bottom or inside the casing.

• Locate leak source: Remove the cover and dry the area. Then slowly reopen the water supply and observe where water appears.
• Tighten fittings: Carefully tighten any slightly loose compression or threaded fittings on the inlet and outlet. Do not overtighten plastic parts.
• Check pressure relief: If water is coming from a relief valve discharge pipe, measure system pressure and ensure an expansion vessel is installed if required.
• Inspect heat exchanger: If water seeps from the heat exchanger body or brazed joints, the exchanger is likely cracked and must be replaced.
• Professional replacement: Replacing a heat exchanger or major internal piping is complex and should be done by a qualified technician using OEM parts.
