Digital Tesy heater display works but buttons do not respond or respond erratically.

Safety first: Turn off power before removing the front panel. The UI area may be near live parts.

Steps:

• Dry moisture: If condensation is visible under the panel, gently dry the area and improve room ventilation.
• Check ribbon cable: Reseat the cable between the UI board and main board.
• Inspect keypad: Look for cracks or physical damage. If buttons are physically worn, replace the Tesy user interface / keypad assembly.
• Test after replacement: Restore power and verify that all buttons respond correctly.
