• Check mixing valve: If a thermostatic mixing valve is installed on the outlet, verify it is not stuck. Exercise the control and, if necessary, remove and descale or replace the thermostatic mixing valve.
• Flush outlet line: With water supply off, disconnect the hot outlet near the heater and check for blockages or scale. Clean and reconnect.
