• 1. Check breaker: Locate the circuit breaker feeding the water heater and ensure it is ON. Reset if tripped.
• 2. Verify service switch: Many installations have a local disconnect switch. Confirm it is in the ON position.
• 3. Inspect power cord/wiring: With power off at the breaker, remove the electrical junction cover on the heater and check for loose wire nuts or burned connections.
• 4. Internal fuse: Some Triangle Tube controls have an internal fuse. If accessible, check and replace only with the same type and rating.
• 5. Control board failure: If proper voltage is present at the control but the display remains dead, the control board may be defective and should be replaced by a technician.
