Possible Causes
Faulty control panel membrane, Moisture ingress behind display, Loose ribbon cable to main board, Control board keypad input failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Isolate power before removing the front control panel.
- Dry moisture: If condensation is visible on or behind the display, allow the unit to dry and correct any source of moisture (e.g., bathroom steam, leaks).
- Check ribbon cable: Carefully remove the front panel and reseat the flat ribbon cable connecting the display/keypad to the main board.
- Test operation: Restore power and test buttons. If still unresponsive, the front panel assembly may need replacement.
- Board check: If a new panel does not fix the issue, the main control board keypad input circuit may be defective.
